Support for My Sister Jessica and Her Family

Story

My sister Jessica is currently hospitalized in Gainesville, more than two hours from home, as she continues to receive the medical care she urgently needs. This has been an incredibly difficult journey—physically, emotionally, and financially—for Jessica, her husband Reggie, and their three children: Nora, Auggie, and Bry.

While Jessica remains in the hospital, Nora, Auggie, and Bry are staying home, surrounded by the love and care of both sets of grandparents. Reggie is doing everything he can to support Jessica while also traveling back and forth to be present for meaningful, end-of-year moments with the kids—milestones that no parent wants to miss.

The distance from home and the length of Jessica’s hospitalization have led to mounting expenses—gas, meals, and uncovered medical costs. One significant upcoming expense will be the long-distance ambulance transport needed to move Jessica from Gainesville to a rehabilitation facility in Orlando when she is finally able to take that next step in recovery.

Jessica’s church has already shown so much love and generosity, and we are incredibly grateful. But the needs are still very real, and that’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe. Every donation will go directly toward these costs and help ease the financial burden on Jessica and her family so they can focus on her healing and staying together through this time.
